A new Freia. Wonder if she's a Freia who may go higher? Or a Freia who's a real stayer?
(Mind you, I always thought Freya Christie was a 'higher Freya' and then heard someone who knows her well calling her 'Freya' as in stayer).
Either way (or indeed, eether way), good luck to her !
Freia to me is rather nice Norwegian Chocolate.
I've never seen this spelling, I've also never thought of saying either spelling of the name any way other than Fray-er.
The Star Wars kid in me can't help but see - Leia in this version, and pronounce it that way.
Good luck to her. She's only played two junior matches, too, back in 2016 in a Swiss clay G5 - she won a round in qualifying.

Data I post, opinions I offer, 'facts' I assert, are almost certainly all stupidly wrong.
At 14.902 years old, Freia is younger than any GB player that won a match in 2017.
The youngest last year was Saffron Dowse, who was 14.995 years old when she won a QR1 match.
In a weird coincidence, both matches were in Manacor, and both were on exactly the same day, February 4th!

Freia won again, but winning twice in a day at her age was possibly too much to ask - they played QR2 & FQR today.
QR2: Freia LAWRENCE (GBR) UNR defeated Isabella Tabb HARTMAN (USA) 6-2 7-6(5)
FQR: Freia LAWRENCE (GBR) UNR lost to Angeles MORENO BARRANQUERO (ESP) 1219 (18yo, =CH) 1-6 0-6
Still, a very encouraging debut. Well done, and may there be more to come.
