Alex Muller is a decent young French guy; now 21; was part of the elite but hasn't quite transitioned as hoped; but was given a MD wildcard to Roland Garros last year; (sign of the federation's faith in him); and lost in five sets.
AND is also the player whom Finn Bass beat very impressively last November
