Even if she'd have won, this level of tennis and consistency of tennis is not going to move her out of her current bracket, or ever get her usefully competing at WTA level again.
But that's been true for several years now.

Oh! Lost a close tie break 10-12. Not really sure where she goes from here. I am a big Laura fan and I soooo want her to do well but she really did throw this away. From 4-0up in the first set she played some awful tennis and then somehow
got herself back in it. She then had a good lead in the final set tiebreak but let Ellie back in. Really disappointing.

At least at this time blob can now disappear and have a long lie down in a darkened room.

Just intermittently followed here and livescore, last before the result at 4-0 up in the final set TB and then looked in just to confirm that Laura had finally won and somehow I was really expecting to see that.

Hmm, err ....

Katie's looked fairly close on paper and it has been very tight. Only really caught it at the end.

So may have been a very decent competitive match, just what she needed. Pity she couldn't get the W though and another match

 I guess the question is "why did she throw it away and how to fix that"
