Good stuff, though in truth I have difficulty getting enthused about Marcus beating a WR 469.
It makes you wonder what level Marcus could be at if he was playing tennis seriously? I see he is entered in all 3 futures events this month, so at least giving it a go for now. Looking at his results over the past year, there is everything from wins over top 200 players to losses to 700 or below; he is probably playing at a top 400 level but surely if he gave it a proper concerted effort he would really be playing Challenger tour events and hold a ranking in the top 200?
But he is not really going to give it a go, is he? I just hope he doesn't spoil things for any of our young players for whom these tournaments could be an affordable opportunity to get a few ranking points. Jack Draper has suffered so far, but I don't suppose I need to worry about his finances.

It doesnt make me wonder, Marcus has played at challenger level with great effect just asking one of the recent Australian Open Quarter Finalists who he destroyed in Knoxville in 2014. He also destroyed a PJ cola and a snickers between games.
Talented undoubtedly but I think you have to enjoy Marcus as is, what he couldve shouldve wouldve been is a bit like a debate as to what is at the end of a rainbow.
