R2: CHRISTIE, Freya (GBR) 546 lost to HOBGARSKI, Katharina (GER) [2] 281 (CH:219 Aug 17) 5-7 4-6

Freya was down 2-5 in the final set but pulled it back to *4-5 and had points for 5-5 but eventually was broken again to lose the match.

Obviously not the result that she wanted. But that does look encouragingly competitive. Hopefully Freya will soon be moving quite markedly up these rankings again.

Actually, looking at the ITF "momentum", as well as *2-5 down in the second set she was *0-5 down in the first set.

Useful first outing of the year - nothing spectacular, but decent performances to build on.
