Coaches - GB coaches and foreign coaches of GB players

What level did Dave play to ? Is he one of those folks who is a much better coach than he was a player ? Perhaps put Louis Cayer in same bracket? I dont know. Ie Im guessing from this clip, Sammel never played the tour at all, presumably not county level either !

Wasn't exactly sure where to put this, but as Matt Smith is now coaching, I thought this thread would be appropriate.

"I played a Belgian guy when we were both 15 and lost, but won when we were both 20. He just said hello again as we are both have players in an u12 junior tourney and have decided to play the decider tonight. I'm pretending not to be completely fired up."

Call me a dinosaur but I think claiming that 'digital' coaching is the future is a load of ****

But it's a cute gimmick, I guess....

I like to note the current coaching/tennis roles of players whose names you used to follow so just to say that, in looking up Daisy Wootton, I saw that the Bolton Arena RPDC Head Coach is Sabrina Federici

Big congrats to Tom Hill as Maria Sakkari gets past her demons and takes the WTA1000 title in Guadalajara

Tom Hill has been coaching Maria Sakkari for a long time because he was coaching her when she beat Jo to win the Rabat title in May 2019.

Yes, exactly, and given all the major grief/trolling that Sakkari has been getting in the past year (and grief she's been giving herself), it's great that she's stuck by Tom and that, between them, they've figured it out
