Then must have been someone else, sorry, Priesty - it was definitely one of the guys from here, I was pretty sure it was you (my bad) - I thought it was quite amusing though
And good luck to Tiran next week. Onward and upwards, that man!
Hell's bells Ryan! That's one hell of a scalp, well done.
Unlucky Jonny, plenty of time for both these youngsters anyway. Very promising from all these young bits.
Cracking result for Ryan but I did think he had a good chance following Copperjans struggles in the last round. But take nothing away from Ryan. He still went out and produced the goods against a very good player. Of course the victory is all the more pleasing as I have Ryan in my GB top 10 by the end of the year. Go Ryan.
Yep he's battling away against a player in Seiber who will be 30 next month and was at carear high of 236 12months ago. Lost the first set but holding him at 2games ea in the second.
Should be - see the Week 3 thread. He was top of the acceptance list for qualies, with Anil Yüksel & Vitaly Kozyukov just behind him, but none of those is in the qualies draw, the q1 being Manuel Guinard, who was fourth, so I assume they were moved into the main draw courtesy of withdrawals.
The top two are of the Quali list are always in by right, unless there are any SEs.
No need for withdrawals.
There are 20 places in the draw as of right. So the 18 for the direct list and the next 2 if no SEs.
