Yes.  Sam trains at Soto Academy and is a decent player.  I guess anything can happen on the day.

Dan Cox is playing the Tier 2 event at Corby this week. The young Maxted brothers, and Brandon Murphy, are there too (As well as others, of course....:))

Corby, Tier 2:

FINAL: Dan Cox def. Oliver Okonkwo 6-2 6-1

Spaniard Juan Seb Gomez is top seed, ATP ranked in the top 800.

Most of the other interesting players are juniors - Mike Shaw, Kai Maxted, Brandon Murphy, Oscar Weightman ... as well as the 'sons of famous dads' brigade (Jack Draper and Matt Beecher).

In the QFs, Dan Siddall beat Juan Seb Gomez, ATP 773 (ex 469), so well done, Dan - excellent result - and we need another Dan, we're rather Dan-less or Dan-light at the moment
In the others, Kai def. Rozanov in three, Oscar defeated Brandon 6-4 in the third, and Mike Shaw defeated James Mackinlay in three.
