So she does - I expect someone at the LTA didn't bother putting it against her name on the list.
Unfortunately she isn't entered for the next two events (Frinton and Felixstowe), which I am hoping to visit. I would have made a point of keeping an eye out.
I fancy the pride of Stevenage to win this. Would love to see a GBR after her name and she would have been a shoe in for a Wimbledon QWC. Some stiff competition for Emma I think would drive them both on.

Which tells you something - the fact that she chooses not to play for GBR even though she could, and would get the perks attached with it.
It's obviously deliberate, would be interesting to know her reasons.
As a side point, I have a slightly random connection to Jo.
When I was a kid, her dad used to run the junior coaching sessions at my local club. He was a pretty decent player himself, big serve and great volleys - if my memory serves me right, he was top 100 in the national rankings for U45 players.
When I was 14, he gave me an absolute drubbing in a tournament match on a very fast artificial grass court - the kind where the ball never gets above ankle height. My favourite surface was always clay, and he gave me a total schooling in how to play on a quicker court. My abiding memory of the match was that as a rather tempestuous junior, I lost my temper pretty early on and finished the contest in a pique of racket smashing. He was definitely less than impressed.
Anyway, I remember seeing Joanna hitting at the club a few years later. She must have only been 8 or 9 at the time, but everyone was saying she had a lot of talent. Amazing how far it's already taken her. I've seen some of the British Tour videos on YouTube. I can say from experience, she has her dad's heavy groundstrokes ;)
Unfortunately, having not been back to the club for 8 years, I have no info regarding how someone who grew up firmly associated with Herts tennis, now represents Chinese Taipei!! Would be fascinating to know!
A good win for Holly over Amy, and it is worth making a comparison.
Amy has been away from the British Tour for a couple of years, hardly playing. But she is an Oxford Blue and aged 24, she is due to graduate this summer in medicine. She had to come through two rounds of qualifying, and beat two seeds in her six match winning streak. Unfortunately her ranking is too low to avoid qualifying.
Holly, as reported in the college thread elsewhere has just finished her second year at Old Dominion, where she played at No 1. She had a relatively easy route to the final though, with a bye, a walkover, and two wins before the final.
Wow that is an interesting comparison, the a, as well as account of Amy. I guess she won't be playing too much more tennis in the future then if she is due to qualify this summer with a medical degree. But 6 matches vs 2 to reach the final of a British Tour event, does seem extremely unequal pathways to get there. That's as many matches Amy played as you need to win in a grand slam MD to reach the final...
QF lineup for Felixstowe Tier 2. Quite a few names I haven't noticed before, so will have to do some research.
Andre Lukosiute v Erika Batista Dodridge Constandena Nicolaou v Annali Olivelle
Hannah Mccolgan [5] v Maria Budin [3] Camille Verden-Anderson [8] v Lillian Mould [2]
Andre was the top seed in qualifying, and defeated the top seed Sophie Woon 1 & 0 today for her fourth consecutive win. Curiously the entries of both the top two entrants, Holly Hutchinson and Kimberly Alinafe Mpukusa, were not accepted
Andre Lukosiute def Annali Olivelle 6-1 6-2 Camille Verden-Anderson [8] def Maria Budin [3] 6-3 6-2
Anyone know at the story is with Andre? From a cursory search online I can see shes a 17 year old Lithuanian living in the Uk and has represented Essex in county tournaments. I notice shes not really played many junior tournaments (none in the last year) but did have some decent early results in 2016.
