Kyle played really well in the latter part of the 3rd set and really deserved the win in the end. Matched his performance from last year by reaching the QFs.
Yes another good showing by Kedders. He should have broken at least twice in the first set but his consistency is still a work in progress. He does now seem to be finding a way through with a bit more patience. I hear he has new coaching staff and new Bahamas home base so hoping all this change will bring about real improvements and crucially that step forward this year.
Just keeping an eye out on who Kyle will play in the QF. Clearly Dimitrov appears most likely but he is a set down and in a TB in the 2nd set against the "Milkman".
Dimitrov survives 2 MPs and takes the breaker 10-8. Kyle will have to wait to see who his QF opponent will be. Whoever it is, at least they will have had a long 3 setter themselves.
