Mods - please don't move this thread into the predictions section until entries are closed.
It's that time of the year when things go a bit quiet and we look ahead to the annual competition when we try to predict the top 10 GB women and their respective rankings.
We have a host of girls in that 200- 450 bracket. Who is going to make the breakthrough?
Which youngsters are going to kick on and climb into the top 10?
Here, perhaps an aid, the win loss records of all 112 British women to play a professionally ranked match thus far in 2017; alphabetically by forename (working down then across):

Nice table.
I think I will wait until I see what happens in India over the next two weeks. It will have a big bearing on how high Katy Dunne is ranked.

As i have very little idea on womens tennis, but the game interests me, I may as well go all in and put some wild predictions down!
Nothing ventured...
Jo Ko - 15
Heather Watson - 90
Naomi Broady - 145
Katie Boulter - 150
Katy Dunne - 175
Laura Robson - 195
Katie Swan - 225
Harriet Dart - 275
Gabi Taylor - 350
Eden Silva - 400
I think I see Tara Moore dropping away and Amanda Carreras and Sam Murray getting overtaken by Eden Silva, but I really have no idea! if this came to pass the GB Women Top 10 average would be close to 200 (202) so maybe I am overall a little too optimistic!

And Gabi. My thoughts too.
I'm thinking the same. Laura and Tara make this really difficult - capable of playing at a high level but huge question marks over both. It's really difficult to predict how either of them will get on in 2018.
