Well done, Mr Farquharson! Two down, and (I sincerely hope) three to go. Well done to the doubles teams also - and the best for the SFs.

L16: Richard Gabb WR 690 v Johan Sebastian Tatlot WR 498 (CH = 315 Aug 2015)

A good chance to progress further for Richard, too.

Not surprised this futures is so stacked, it's played on the same site they play the ATP event so it's one of the more desirable spots for the futures players.

Both Brits are struggling at the moment down breaks in the opener.

Tatlot is good, Rich will have to be on top of his game to win that one.

Tom is on the verge of reaching his 3rd consecutive 3 set match.

Rich is a break down in the second, but battling.

Was pretty sure that Jo Tatlot would win. But had hoped Tom might be too strong for Hamou who's an unlikeable little so-and-so. Maybe more hope than expectation though...Shame....

Unlikeable is pretty generous actually. Having seen him play Josh Rose and Ali Gray earlier this year I could easily have used something a lot stronger.  I was hopeful that Tom would beat him though. Pity, for so many reasons.

Edit

#FakeNews  It would help if I fact checked myself before posting. I am mixing up Hamou with Klegou.  Mind you, Klegou wasn't any better in terms of behaviour.

I think Hamou was the one I saw in Murcia last year when he lost to Alex de Minaur.  I had better fact check that one as well.  Back in a minute.  Back now.  Yes, that one was Hamou.
