Week 49 - Qatar F4 - Doha ($15,000) (hard)

Interesting that, despite the ranking difference, Bet365 has the 17 year-old Jaimee Floyd Angele as clear favourite over Luke. True he's a great talent (2.05 m in height adds certain qualities just in itself!). And seems a nice kid as well. But he's a got a lot of 'growing into himself' to do

Except that Andrew Watson has just taken the first set off the top seed, 3-6, and is staking his claim too

Well there is some qualifier who has just taken a set off the #1 seed who might have something to say about that confuse

I was working on the principle of when Tom gets through R1, he wins the tournament.  Hope Andrew gets through today. A win against Ilhan would be a real feather in his cap.

Yes, I know. And it's a good theory. I just meant that maybe Watson wanted to show the exception that proved the rule.

Just a brilliant win that for Andrew. Without checking that must rank as his career best win... and the best 1 point he has got so far in his career smile

Luke is a set down.
What a strong field for a tournament in Dec.
Farqi isn't even seeded.
Well done Watto
