[2] Sarah Borwell - Won a 10K futures in Sheffield and reached the semis of a 10K futures in Sunderland.

[3] Naomi Cavaday - Runner-up in a 10K futures event in Sunderland and reached quarters of 10K futures event in Sheffield.

[4] Elena Baltacha - runner-up in 25K challenger doubles

I don't really follow women's tennis closely, but on the face of it, got to be Anna Keothavong, although things are looking very encouraging for future with Naomi Cavaday.

It's a tough decision but Anne's superb performances in Redding means that I'm choosing her as my player of the month for Month, narrowly ahead of Sarah Borwell.

Even stevens at the moment in the poll: 2 votes each for Anne, Sarah and Naomi

The 2 suggestions from the top of my head would be Naomi (3 great weeks in juniors) and Elena (7/8 wins in Fed Cup on Clay).
