The first set slips away 6-3 despite the strong start.

At the moment Nagal is dominating and he has won all five of the games since I've been watching 3-6
He has Jay mostly on the defence at the moment, retrieving a lot from way back. When Jay has tried to hit his forehand harder its mostly gone long. At the same time Nagal has been lucky with some net cords. It just needs a bit more to click for Jay. Four first serves, the last an ace, have finally got him back on the board, and 1-0* up in the second set. He needs to keep this up....

Jay playing much better this set, coming forward much more, hitting the ball harder and placing it better, putting a lot more pressure on Nagal. It's very even so far this set, a good match 3-6 3-2*

Egalité (before anyone says anything, yes, I know that, strictly speaking, that means "deuce, in French tennis terminology, but I'm using it to mean "all square", as in football parlance)!  Jay takes the second set by 6-3 to level the match!
