I thought they were awkward draws, but I expected both to come through. Disappointing loss for Freya.

Good win for Jodie - there seems to be some good competition between the girls between 500-650. Who will be first to break into the top 500?

Indeed some good points being gathered and on Monday week we will have 16 players on at least 48 points. With one more win here Jodie, now up to 48 points, can make it 17 players on 50 points or more which would probably be enough for top 550. Eden Silva and young Webley-Smith are the latest over 50 points. And Beth is now in running up to 43 points and top 600 and a 25K QF win for her would take her over 50 points too so even possibly 18.

So although still just 12 in the top 500, another 6 are already not too far off and such as Fran, Emily Arb and Emily App rising players beyond that. 20 in the top 500 anyone?

The 6 are Maia, Eden, EWS, Freya, Jodie and Beth. So Maia, Eden, Jodie and Beth are the at least top 600 ( or will be on Monday week ) front runners to break into the top 500 for the first time.
