Congratulations to Summer for her first WTA point! She had made good progress through the recent British ITF events - another reason why they are important - since her pror promising British Tour performances.

And still serving for the match. She had match points on Lucie's last serve, which she did not take, then was 40-15 up and did not take the points, since then has had both further MPs, and BPs against her saved... now another MP, the 5th or 6th now I think... and finally wins one, whew.... confuse

Well, this I didn't really expect... Summer during the onset of winter. Ms Yardley's tennis would seem to be progressing... rather quickly at the moment. Now she just needs to hold her nerve... 6-3 3-1*
