Who will win the Grand Slams in 2018?

2018 has the potential to be one of the most random seasons ever.  This is was I am thinking:

AO- Zverev

FO- Nadal

Wim- Wawrinka (completes career grand slam/ Murray fans in ruins)

USO-Federer,(last grand slam)

Thoughts?

Wimbledon - cilic
USO- djokovic

Andy - my gut feeling is that this is going to be his last season an sometime next year he will be forced to retire. I hope I'm wrong.

And this is my 1000th post, what a cheary note to post with!

I would pick Stan for any other GS win. His past appearances at Wimbledon have not exactly been amazing and he generally doesn't perform as well on grass as on other surfaces.

Then again, who really knows?

This is a great question. Surely the most uncertain year to predict in a long time.

AO - Federer
FO - Nadal
Wim - Federer
USO - Del Potro

I think next year is still too early for Zverev. I think Djokovic and Murray will struggle to come back quickly, even if they just plan around the grand slams. Wawrinka will also struggle, especially since he has never been that consistent. Del Potro still has another grand slam in him, not exactly sure why he hasn't progressed as well this year, but he has certainly shown glimpses of being back to his best, doubt around his backhand I guess.

The way Federer has played this year, suggests with careful scheduling he could compete at Grand Slams for another couple of years and retire around the same time as the younger trio of Djokovic, Murray and Nadal.

No idea.

But it's good to see some 'new' names on Masters roster:

Ricky Dimon

@Dimonator

three consecutive first-time Masters 1000 champions:

Paris - Sock
Indian Wells - Del Potro
Miami - Isner

first time this has happened since 2003:

Hamburg - Coria
Rome - Mantilla
Canada - Roddick

Both the men's and women's grand slams could have new champions this year, so it is quite interesting to see what happens.

Less than educated guesses - there must be some algorithms to predict and would be interesting to see how accurate they are.....

AO - Federer
FO - Nadal
Wimbledon - Federer , but would like to see Dimitrov win ;0)
USO Djokovic or Zverev
