You've beaten me to the story of the 3rd set, Indiana, so I'll settle for a Cmon Katy! (who has had a 30-0 lead in this service game pegged back to 30-30)

No idea what's going on now - ITF PBP dots for the 8th game of the 3rd set shows 40-0 -> 40-30 but the score says 30-15, then it shows Zhang winning just 2 points to hold for and leave Katy serving to stay in the match at *4-5 in the 3rd ...

Sad end (though nowhere near as sad as Laura's match last night - her opponent won again today btw) - it would have been Katy's best ever singles points haul but for now, that remains a 3-way tie between her 25K runner-up weeks.

Rats.
A welcome week for Ms. Dunne, in a year that hasn't had many. I get the sense that she's not really played much better than decent most of the year; certainly not flying, or regularly playing as she can, or might hope to.
One more win here in a good opportuity, and... but, that's the ever-present ifs, buts and maybes.
Trying to get good runs more often, or, at least, not lose her opening match so often, would be a useful next step. Perhaps that indicates ambition, tempering yourself against a level slightly too high at times, in order to raise yourself up. That, at least, can't be faulted.
