Thanks for the reports Michael and Jiwan. I haven't seen either Cam or Liam this week although I have seen quite a bit of them, particularly Cam in recent weeks. And yes, even when performing very well and with a competitive ranking points total as against Kyle won since July ( although dropped behind a bit in the last two weeks ) the general level of Cam's play and clearly the general level of his opponents is to my mind still quite a way behind Kyle and Aljaz so I would disagree with some suggestions otherwise. That is no criticism at all of Cam who has been doing relatively so very well but in context still very understandably a way short of that level.
I think Liam playing at around 130-140 rankings level sounds about right and I'd say Cam maybe inside top 100 at his best but not yet far inside. Next year will continue to be very interesting to see if and how that pair can push on.
Kyle has not moved significantly beyond WR 50 level this year very largely through not seeing out matches, which has frustrated himself as much as anyone and is clearly reflected in his ranking, but I would have great difficulty in seeing a case that he is of any lower level than that ranking having been competing with some of the best, and certainly at times he has played to a significantly higher level. There continues to be more upwards potential with him so very likely to keep him ranked some way ahead of Cam next year but hopefully both having individually moved up.
