Looks like Jay's calling it an early end to the season too. I haven't seen his name down in the last few weeks.
He was just playing in the Challenger that Liam is the finalist in currently. Knocked out in qualifying r1 and played a round in the doubles with Marcus.
loads of drop outs at Sunderland - we now have 9 direct entries, 4 wildcards and probably 8 qualifiers. No idea on wildcards, but would guess Ella, Alo, Alice and Gemma or Ali Collins
Oli has withdrawn again from this week, this time from a Czech 15K MD on 24/10. Ryan P and Rhett P* withdrew from Estonia 15 QD and Malaysia 15K QD respectively, both on 23/10. Olivia N has again withdrawn this week, withdrew on 22/10 from the Sunderland 15K.
* NB : Rhett is showing on the ITF site and in the rankings list on the ATP site, if not ( yet ) his individual ATP page, as now a New Zealand player.
There was an interview a couple of years back where Rhett said the question of nationality was definitely 'up in the air' or some such undecided sort of comment.
And he also implied that, if he didn't make it, he wouldn't bother changing, but if it looked likely that he was going to be more successful, he would change. Which I'm not criticising - sure he's got good reasons - but was hardly endearing to a British tennis supporter.

Ola and Alice are in the quali draw (and should end up playing each other again, which is a shame).
Gemma, Ella and Ali aren't so they might be in directly.
Purely based on the entry lists, Erin Richardson, Tiffany, Emma Rad, Isabelle Earnshaw, Hannah McColgan, inter alia, are others that may stand a chance too, or are notable by their absence in the Q draw, at any rate.
