Not sure that claim entirely stands up to scrutiny. Of their opponents: Chang is just 20, and has 2 x $25K doubles titles, and 4 x $10K titles; is rankied inside the top 200 for doubles. Mueller is 29, has won $50K's and many $25K in the past, including three in the last three years, and dozens of $10K doubles. They are regular partners, and have won 3 titles together in the last 12 months. So, though Emily may indeed be a 'good doubles player' with her CH of 602, and 2x $15K titles, being just a foreshadow of her final potential, right now; given everything, rocking up as a scratch pair, and overcoming the 700+ combined rankings differential, seems still very much a surprise by any useful comparison.

Errrr it may have something to do with her partner who is arguably the best female college tennis player at the moment, her WTA ranking is obviously significantly skewed in a negative direction as a consequence of being a part timer on tour!
It's going to take quite some turnaround for Tara to match Conny's $25K doubles title today. Tara and alternative Swiss partner, Amra, are well down, 1-6 *0-2
