2-1 to the boys on serve. Mr Kleiin is very solid at this level on singles. His temperament is all over the place tough.I think his doubles success is partly down to his partner calming him down. Plus he has a great partner

3-2 still on serve with the Brits

3-3

leading 4-3. no breaks in this set

4-4

Broken for 4-5* so unless they can break back immediately we're heading for a MTB.

Liam couldn't have made a better start, an early break (to love) and he leads 3-0*y

5-2*

It's good stuff by Liam. Similarities to Cam in that he is getting the ball back well and deep when under pressure and generally really doing something with the ball ( more than I often recall if not quite as much as Cam ) when in decent position, and with a lack of unforced errors.

And there's the first set, both players holding fairly comfortably at the moment, but Liam chalks up the first set 6-3

You're right Indy, I haven't seen Liam generate this much penetration with his groundstrokes for quite some time!

Liam broke for 3-2, then went 0-40 down in next game, saved all three break points but was broken on the fourth. Kozlov has a bit of a spring in his step suddenly and has just held to love to go 4-3 up back on serve in the 2nd. Too early to panic, but important game coming up for Liam to regain his grip.

Yes Tomemp, was important to hold there to put Kozlov a bit back in his box.
