Good showings, and very well done to Ms. Boulter, who must have a decent chance to make her fourth final of the year, which would set her apart, alone, one ahead of Johanna.

Well done to the Katies. I was already beginning to wonder if a few things were clicking more for Katie S so I will be particularly interested to see how competitive her QF is.
And pretty competitive it clearly was, and a reminder that Katie S has a JCH 2 herself so good to see her maybe continuing to get back towards that relative level she would hope for against another recently very top level junior with already such a good ranking in seniors. Hopefully she can really push on next year.
And excellent stuff from Katie B with her win. Reaching the SF in itself should take her back to around her recent CH 211 and with nothing to defend until February and nothing of much consequence until March. She's been doing very well.
At least Ms. Swan gets something out of the day; progressing serenely into the doubles SF.
QF: Swan/Cengiz (GBR/TUR) 736 defeated Marfutina/Pivovarova (RUS/RUS) 839 6-3 6-1

The doubles SFs like the singles SFs will now be held on Sunday. Maybe they were rescheduled once it became clear that no one would be in both singles and doubles SFs. The singles final is on the order of play as TBC vs TBC though not the doubles final, but I assume the plan is to play it too tomorrow.
SF: Berfu Cengiz (TUR) & Katie Swan CR 786 (452+334) vs Emma Laine & Jessy Rompies (FIN/INA) CR 893 (407+486), 31 yo EL has a CH 64 from 2006.
