Nice one, Sam !

I was more worried about her match than Beth's, in fact, despite the ranking difference - youngsters are unpredictable whereas Heise is more of a known quantity. Great to see Sam on form.

Very nice work by our British contingent.

Both Sam and Beth have doubles matches today too. Sam is playing her QF match now with Thandi, a set up and break down 6-3 2-3*
In the absence of Olivia (and Alicia), Beth is playing her L16 match with Karen Barritza (DEN) her partner this week.
