Didn't see the 1st set. But from a 74 minute first set to a 28 minute second! Any watch both sets? What was the difference? Liam's game improving or Mitchell's dropping?

Having been a break down in the 2nd, Alex got back on level terms but unfortunately came off second best in the TB. He lost 7-5 7-6(2)

If things go with seeding, Liam's next opponent will be Tennys Sandgren. However, Sandgren looked pretty "spent" after his Final with Cam last week so I wouldn't be surprised to see a upset. Even if Sandgren makes it through, I would give Liam a decent chance of causing an upset himself.

So good to see Liam maintaining his good recent form. MK is a solid challenger level player and if Liam keeps this up then a steady diet of challengers and weaker 250's next year could be on the cards as he looks to consolidate and maybe push on to the top 100. Hope he makes it, definitely one of the good guys on the tour.
