Should say that Mike C is posting about high winds again. "Flying debris and difficult driving conditions". The warning doesn't mention tennis though so they should be OK
Without wishing to curse CN's fortune tonight, I have a questions for the board's statisticians: How many players have won back to back Challengers? The only ones I can think of are Richard Gasquet (2005) and Taylor Fritz (2015). I am sure it is a feat that has been achieved by many others, especially clay courters, but I can't think of any.
Many, many years ago we did have a resident stats man, his name escapes me.
I'm looking forward to tonight's match...
Kyrgios waltzed through a couple of successive Challengers not so long ago.
Was just looking and Cam has 76 points to defend till June next year. So roughly 120 points needed to get in the top 100 and keep him there till then. I'd imagine he'd stay with the challengers for a bit on this stretch but will be interesting to see when he tries to take on 250's.

Indeed true and it shows how little Cam has to defend before June and how much he has already banked to be well set for French Open and Wimbledon MD direct entry ( well, saves a WC there ).
But I rather think his top 100 ambitions now are for very far ahead of June !
And just how he progresses will largely determine his schedule up until then.
I notice that at the backend of October that Brydan is off to the two Challengers in Aus. Will be interesting to see if Joe joins or stays in North America.
