The close of that match was very entertaining, if not always for the right reasons. Mmoh managed to maintain a remarkably calm demeanour. If that had instead been Jared Donaldson, back when he was playing Challengers, I think his head would have exploded.
Mmoh seems to be mentality weak.
Cam had a nightmare start and was nowhere near the pace as soon as Cam broke at 5-1 you could see the panic and nerves and it was fairly obviously which way the match would go.
Cam is still scheduled to play Fairfield and Vegas so must have a chance of breaking into top 100.
A SF win and Cam will go points leader bar none in GB men's ranking points added since the start of July. Would move him from 370 to 392 points in just over 3 months. Yes, such as Kyle has been playing with greater jeopardy on the ATP tour and in truth his own 380 points over the period are relatively not too bad. But still in itself some achievement and great consistency.
An excellent advert for American college tennis, Norrie.
Absolutely. What a wise decision by him. And he's doing them proud.
And he's now based in the States full-time so he obviously likes it there.
Mmoh was mentally all over the place the two times I saw him as a youngster - more overtly emotional, which he's obviously now reining in, but just as fragile.

I can't help but think that Golding - an intelligent-sounding man- would have benefited from a similar development path. As Norrie puts it himself (interview with The Independent):- Being 'a bit burnt out after the juniors' and searching for 'a more balanced lifestyle and normal life', he credits American university life with helping him rekindle his love for the game.
Might be going a bit far to suggest tennis stardom at a U.S. college would have straightened out Dan Evans' head too.
Without wishing to curse CN's fortune tonight, I have a questions for the board's statisticians: How many players have won back to back Challengers? The only ones I can think of are Richard Gasquet (2005) and Taylor Fritz (2015). I am sure it is a feat that has been achieved by many others, especially clay courters, but I can't think of any.
Many, many years ago we did have a resident stats man, his name escapes me.
