Jamie has posted a video of the last two points, the one to get it to 10-9 was quite unbelievable. Then Bruno hit a masterful lob to win it. Fine margins.

That's a shock. The Japanese seem to have some decent players coming through, Sugita doing well in singles as an example.

 Nonetheless he seems to have really pushed on in the rankings this season and the Japanese top 10 is well above ours on average, man for man. Not sure if Sugita is that old what has made the difference but he has pushed into the top 40-50 and well beyond previous rankings. Or have I just been sleeping!
