Colombo in the monsoons... It can keep on raining too. Good luck to them in trying to get the tournament finished. No QF matches in the revised order of play again today, just trying to finish the L16 matches.

 I loved it. Colombo is starting to get commercialised, but if you go down the coast it is lovely and still traditional.

Wow, a series of massive games there. The next 6 games after the 0-2 have taken more than 50 mins. Games 6 and 7 of the set were both epic battles with multiple deuces. In the first Alice failed to take any of 3 BPs, but in the next doggedly dug in to save 4 BPs against her. After eventually holding on the nth deuce, she then did finally break back quickly and is now seeking to hold again... which she does to 30. So.... 6-3 5-4* now and the 2hr mark hit.

Well unfortunately after being comfortably up 40-15 in the 11th game, Alice let that one slip and lost 4 points in a row, so Yexin is now serving for the set 6-3 5-6* and 2hrs 13 mins gone so far.
