Mandy comes from 0-2 down to win the first set 6-4, though she does it the hard way, failing to serve it out, and then breaking after several deuces and both set points and game points.
Both players struggling to hold serve at the moment, and for Mandy, a very low percentage of first serves. Just under 50% for the whole match at the moment.
Glad to see Mandy use the last comment as a spur for changing the pattern of the game Despite further BPs against her, including whilst serving for the match, she rebuffed them all, in so doing not losing another game. A wonderfully encouraging 6-4 6-1 victory in the end, and a welcome 5 points. Small beginnings and all that.... Hope her wrist holds out now for next match(es)
Yes, she may even have had a set point against her at 2-5*. That was somen incredible comeback Second set looks like being a battle too, Mandy having missed 3 BPs in her opponents first service game. 7-5 1-1
Well that was the most extraordinary match... In the second set Mandy got herself in an even worse position than the first set. She was *1-5 down in this one, before coming back to win the next six games and the match overall 7-5 7-5!!! Her first serving improved later in the match, is all I can say

Madness but stunning recoveries in both sets - looking at the ITF live scores PBP, she did indeed win 5 games in a row from 2-5 in the 1st and 6 games in a row from 1-5 in the 2nd and saved at least one set point in each set. Three 7-5s in the end - the 2 set scores and the number of breaks by each player!
