As I don't really follow the juniors, many of these names are new to me. But when I was at Wimbleon Qualies (2016) I remember talking to Nick Weal (or was it James Trotman - I don't remember which) and asking him what names I should be looking out for over the next few years. The first name out was Anton Matusevich. The signs are there that he was right.
So well done Anton and great work from Tad too on securing his first ATP point this week.

The interesting thing, to me, about the main 2001-ers is that they are all so differen
Anton is a well-built lad, strong, with a real strike of the ball, as you'd expect given his build. But a little slow sometimes, and a little predictable. You can see him winding up for the shot, know where it's going. But, obviously, that doesn't matter if you then hit it hard enough that the other player's got no chance, even if he's in the right place. And he's only going to get stronger. And quicker.
Jack Draper is far lighter, lefty, and a 'smooth' player - very nice technique, clean, good timing. Doesn't have Anton's force but there's no real weaknesses. A lot to like. (Just later to grow).
George Loffhagen has more ups and downs in his game, more things to iron out in shot selection etc. But lovely natural acceleration, more surprises. Exciting player to watch.
Haven't seen James Story, or Blu, or some of the others. Nor the 'infamous' Tad
Very pleased for Luke J - that's a good win against the top-700 Irishman.

Only three out of the original ten peskies still standing.
I have been keeping a track these past 3 weeks of performances across the 3 events and created a sort of ranking system.
using points as W=10, RU = 7, Semis = 5 , Q's = 3 and Last 16 = 1 point then the ratings as of reaching the last 8 of F6 are below. Lloyd is of course top but Tom F or Kocecny could overtake him as they are still in this week. The events column is how many of the weeks they have scored in. Neil and Luke could still end up high and then Anton and Billy are of course still in. Thought it might interest some, probably would amuse Indy

Looking at the draw you've got to say the most likely scenario here is a repeat of last weeks final. Go Tom!
I'm not sure I agree. Neil seems to be in good form and Barrere can be really good, so the winner of that match is a more likely finalist in my eyes. Tom should be the favourite in the other half, but Guez is no mug.
