Of course he won't remember, because he's got better things to do (!), but if Finn happens to remember a rather harum-scarum supporter, shouting loudly, gesticulating and generally making a spectacle in true Gallic style, back in Roehampton in 2015 when he played a great match and beat Kecmanovic, that was me Been a big fan ever since.
Nah. He just wanted an excuse to stay home and watch Spurs beat West Ham
Seriously though, I hope he recovers quickly from whatever the injury may be. As others have said, he has made great strides over the last couple of weeks and it would be great to keep the momentum going.
Bob you've seen through our cunning ruse ! Thank you guys for all your support it's appreciated . He should be fit and well for Houston . Great win for Spurs too today .

I am sure I speak on behalf on everyone when I say "you're welcome". Despite the many perspectives we have here, the one common motivation we all have is to see (and where possible, to help) the GB tennis players do well.
We also enjoy getting the inside perspective, so please keep posting. As I am sure you are aware, we have other parents, siblings and sponsors posting here, and every now and again, even the players themselves have been known to drop by occasionally. This information is like gold dust for us and I feel it helps us to keep a more rounded viewpoint on a players progress. We see live scores and results, but mostly can only guess at the many off court factors that can often affect a players performance on any particular day.
If you are not giving away too many secrets, what are Finn's plans for the remainder of the year. From your Houston comment, I assume this will be followed by Harlington (another 25k), but what will come after that ? Will Finn stay over in the USA for some of the 15ks in November or head back to Europe ?

Ryan P, Sean Hodkin & Marshall Tutu above Khan in the qualies acceptance list....
Thanks for another beyond-the-call-of-duty effort, SC, and thanks to Gary for the info about Finn, who'll hopefully be adding to his suddenly soaring points total soon.

Be interesting to see if Jack Draper can qualify again
If he plays in the same way as he did last week he stands a very good chance.
Obviously it is very difficult as both Jack and Anton are both so young so one would expect some variability in their performance. Playing senior tournaments at 15/16 should be predominantly about experience with limited expectation. That said Anton is probably his major hurdle which on reflection is pretty good for British tennis with some bragging rights at stake I suspect.
Marcus, his first round opponent is a very good club player and imminent STUDENT/athlete, with the emphasis on the student bit but doesn't have any track record at futures or junior futures level. Johnny Binding is the seed and has been playing lots of futures having just graduated from Durham where he was one of the strongest British based student players. Jack on last weeks form would be a real test for him.

Yes, I agree - for the youngsters it is definitely all about experience - variation of style of player, little expectation, chance to use different styles of play....
For that reason, it's a real shame that Anton and Jack are in the same little section, although at least they don't play each other straight off.
Johnny Binding, as mentioned before, is currently on the TASS/LTA pro coach-player training programme (been there for a year since graduating). So he's full-time tennis - both coaching and playing, with some financial security behind him, and a development path - seems an excellent initiative. (Olivia Nicholls is their 'star' performer - don't know who the other four on the programme are).
Jonny had a good run at the 25k last week but, I agree, good chance Jack would have his number.
James Story is the other 2001-er who did very well last week at Roehampton, beating an Italian player ranked 1115.
There's a couple of other 2001/2000 born players, as well as a good handful of 1999-ers. Good to see.
