Naomi's week inversely proportional to that of her brother:
QF: Broady/Falconi (GBR/USA) [4] 430 (84 + 346) lost to Arconada/Stefani (USA/BRA) 579 (292 + 287) 2-6 3-6

Data I post, opinions I offer, 'facts' I assert, are almost certainly all stupidly wrong.
There were twice as many holds as breaks in the 1st set (2 to Min on the way to a 5-1 lead the 1 to Katie to make the score a bit more respectable 6-3) but in the 2nd, the first 6 games were all breaks and indeed, Min didn't hold serve at all. Katie then broke for the 5th time in a row at the start of the 3rd set and has saved all 5 of the bps Min has had since.

It must be late in the UK, if you're there, Peter - this match does seem to be exciting enough to be well worth staying up for though , hope Katie can finish off the American now.

Excellent win That should take her up to about 210. To crack the top 200 this week, she would need to avenge a 3-set defeat in the SFs at les Contamines 10K in 2014 against the 'Spoldovan' (or should than be 'Molpanish'?) former world junior no. 4.
