Week 37 - ITF ($15K) - Buenos Aires, Argentina, Clay

In each set Emily managed to staunch putative Argentine recoveries, in a afairly routine win, 6-2 6-3

Yes good that Emily wasn't bent off course in R2 and I hope that she can now deal with the small problem of the #3 seed in the QF.

Emily rounded out a very productive days work, by progressing to the SF of the doubles with partner, María Lourdes Carle; knocking out the third seeds:

QF: Appleton/Carle (GBR/ARG) 1819 (898 + 921) defeated Kurata/Tomita (BRA/BRA) [3] 1654 (492 1162) 7-6(6) 6-4
SF: opponents TBC

Emily is still on the qualifying list for next week's Tampico, Mexico 100K+H.

Evidently just 4,700 miles and an 11 hour flight away.
