With today's win, Jay ended a 5 match losing streak in semi-finals (though he did very well to reach the SFs in the first place in most of those cases) and makes his 4th Futures singles final (1st at 25K level, as has already been mentioned), having won the other 3.

It seems as if I was premature to anticipate that Jay would likely be top 300 when his 8 ( net 6 ) points from last week are added on Monday. He's showing as live ranked 301 and clearly won't add any more for Monday.
But he sure as heck will be top 300 on Monday week when this week's points are added so congratulations again
Great to see his progression in this clay series. He is a quick learner.
Could be up to about WR 260 if he wins the title and while as discussed before he has a lot of points to defend during the remainder of the year so just maintaining that rank would be a fair ask, a year on and with his progression and maybe a decent challenger run or two, maybe switching back to hard courts, and who's to say where he can yet end the year. Great to follow his continued emergence.
