And Fran's current 7 points should take her up about 200 places in the rankings now, once they come on, into the high 800s. In contrast, Emily has at least now recovered all but 1 of the 8 points she has coming off this week... so she still needs the actual win for hers to be an upward move Mon next.
Emily also now is guaranteed to finish the week with the second highest match win % amongst Brits in 2017, at 68.42% (13-6); after only Johanna (73.21%, 40-15); with Katie Boulter 3rd (64.58%, 31-17).

Tara's result would also only count for next week (week 38) not this (week 37).
The results are counted to the week in which the first Monday of the event counts - as with the WTA rankings.
The exception is Slam qualifying, as officially, these are separate events of themselves, so they don't count in to the first week of the Slam MD, but to the week in which the qualifying is held.

Fran wins the first set, 6-3 and two breaks to love. Stats are very similar till one comes to second serve, where Fran has won 83% (5/6) against Emily's 30% (3/10)
