I would think it would be highly unlikely for Jay to make Australian qualifying. French Open is a more reasonable target. Jay has a big chunk of points coming off from the titles he won in December and build up to that. He'd have to be winning a few 25ks to replace that to get anywhere near.
Apologies, I was actually looking at the "Race" rather than the "Rankings" table.
First congratulations to Jay on just winning his QF in the Spain 25K. The 8 points for that (net 6) should take him into the top 300 for the first time.
But Jaggy makes very good points about Jay's ranking points still to come off, particularly those two 18 point Egypt 15K titles. These are of course included in his ranking total but also in his mid 200s position race total ( the race starts in November ).
The current WR 240 say has 216 points. Jay absolutely up to date has 'just' 114 points guaranteed for the Aussie Open Qualifying date (18/12 with the two 18 pointers just coming off before then). So about 100 points adrift of WR 240.
Go on to win the current week 36 tournament and he would add a further 19 points for 133 banked points from 16 tournaments. Add 27 points again for this coming week, week 37, and he would have 160 banked points from 17 counters.
So a) he would even then maybe need a further 50 odd points to get into the likely required WR 240 region and b) that is with 'giving him' two successive clay tournament 25K titles. I like his schedule but he has not looked in recent weeks yet like a clay master ready to win successive 25Ks.
All the best to him of course, but Aussie Open qualifying as yet is a very tough ask.
Edit: ah, my ramble ( but hopefully usefully illustrating the extent of Jay's Aussie Open Qualifying task with these points to come off both his ranking and race position ) crossed with LordBrownof's last post.

In terms of who's doing what this week, many of our top GB players should be on the list at the top as taking part in the Aegon Team Tennis Finals.
This includes, amongst others:
Jonathan Gray, Ryan Storrie, Jonnie O'Mara, Scott Clayton, Joe Salisbury, Tom Farq., Neil P, Toby Martin, Mark Whitehouse, Matt Short, Ollie Hudson, Jamie Baker, and Lewis Burton.
Beth Grey, Manisha F, Mel South, Lucy Brown, Emma Rad., Olivia Nicholls, Laura Deigman, Esther Adeshina, Erin Richardson, Tiegan Aitken, Kaite O'Brien, and Naomi Cavaday.
Tara is shown to have withdrawn from the California 25K main draw on Wednesday, having bypassed the relatively nearby Nevada 60K for which she would also have made the main draw, to play in that Quebec WTA event. Hope she now does find some form and at least earns some decent qualifying points.
Heather has withdrawn from the Quebec main draw list leaving just Naomi in place.
