Halep's got to get a slam sooner or later and she's certainly in good form
Except last seen losing 6-1 6-0 to Muguruza with the Cincinnati Premier 5 title and another chance at WR 1 at stake. I think maiden Slam title is another step again. Just saying ...
Pliskova survives in three sets against Nicole Gibbs, who could easily have won.
It's there for Muguruza to take it (so long as she remembers her earplugs)
I had rather hoped, when I came on this thread first, that Indy had put the top 6 or 7 and then 'other'. Would definitely have been worth an 'other' punt then. But he's not wrong, the list is long, so Muggie seemed the logical choice and got my vote too (forgot to post it).
But although there's comfort in numbers, can't help feeling we may all be wrong....
Yes, as I indicated I went for the 17 no less listed as 50/1 or better on bet365 so as not to bias my selection and check I wasn't missing a quite favoured player. And yes I still hear and can understand shout-outs for others such as Garcia as at least one to watch.
