Week 35 - Italy F27 ($15,000) - Piombino (hard)

Well, Jonny Gray so very nearly took out Shyla last week - maybe it's for Oli to finish the job ?

That makes me really happy!  Despite him acting like a complete idiot at times during his tennis career, I've always had a soft spot for Oli - he's always been a great bloke away from the courts.

Yes, definitely an SC 'woohoo' moment as Oli does indeed finish the job.

Great news

Thanks to Stevens tweet I'm in this thread. Great to see Oli playing again. After Belarus wasn't sure if it was a full comeback. Maybe this is a comeback. On the previous page someone mentioned having seen what Cam and Kyle have done. I'd say having seen what Marcus has done. Similar in the way they are both coaching. But Marcus has been in and out of the tour and managing to earn some decent pay checks from Wimbledon.

Well this result certainly brought a smile to my face. The talent has never been in doubt. Let's hope this is the start of something more.

Yes, Bob, Oli is certainly capable of for one thing getting back in the top 500

Excellent win, wish him well should be fun! Really in terms of tennis potential he is a different league to Marcus, in terms of polishing of a full Italian all 5 courses (that was one hell of a starter) he is not even close.

Does he need to win another round to get a ranking back or another scoring tournament? I forget.

No. On the men's side, as soon as you have a point, you have a ranking.

Saw Billy beat Ghedin in Murcia last year.  This will be a another very winnable match for Oli.

Oli just needs to win the tournament to be back in the top 25 table
