Still time I assume before the action starts for one ( just one ! ) further person to withdraw from the main draw and Naomi get in as first alt. Azarenka's eventual withdrawal before the draw let Eguchi in ( on her SR ) and left Naomi hovering.

Apologies if this has been posted or addressed elsewhere...

Apparently, rights image issues with broadcasters are preventing streaming of US Open Qualifying (but I don't have any more info than that or even if that is the case). I deal with music rights around performances and VOD content and I'm still a little confused as to why broadcasting of the main show would restrict showing of qualies. It is rather frustrating if the broadcaster(s) have sneaked this into a contract but isn't willing/bothered to show them. It's not like another channel/online media showing qualies would damage the commercial viability of the main show being broadcast on ESPN or whatever.
