Kyle up to 42 in the live rankings. A SF win would put him at 37, which given all the drop outs, could well have seen him seeded next week, except for the fact that seedings are based on last week's rankings.

ATP 250 SF excellent and still all to play for, I know I am a bit of a boring B*** but it is really encouraging that he has consistently come out on top in close matches against other players with a very similar ranking. Very glad playing this 250 is working out should bring some confidence for next week.

SF: (Q) Kyle Edmund WR 45 vs Damir Dzumhur (BIH) WR 67 (CH 66 Mar 2017)

H2H : 0-1 Aus Open last year. Kyle was 2 sets to 1 up but then started cramping up if I remember correctly. Dzumhur went on to win in 5 sets.

Wow, won his SF too, that's 7 wins in 6 days and into the final

OK.  It's late, even here in Brazil. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.  disbelief

Just goes to show that the slams are a completely different beast from the ATP tour. Having to win at least 3 sets to progress is a big step up in not only physicality but in game management.

Are there any streams or links to this battle of the ermm great 'ATP' ranked semis to watch online or are we stuck with live scores?

Videostream has had the matches all week, so I'm sure a stream will be available when the match starts

No doubt be on tennistv, but that comes at a cost though not unreasonable over a year.

But then if it's on tennistv no doubt there are streams out there.

Sadly, in a turnaround similar to their AO match (albeit over fewer sets), Dzumhur came back to win 1-6 7-5 6-3
