Just for the record, we should probably set it straight:

SF: (7) Lloyd Glasspool (GBR) WR 495 v (5) Hugo Grenier (FRA) WR 414

Can't we go back and give Mr Glasspool a go against Mr Liutarevich?

Lloyd clearly not impressed by is own performance

This week goes down as the worst week of tennis I have ever played in my life.

Interesting comment from someone who took out an ex Top 100 player yesterday. I sense the frustration coming out today though.

Maybe Lloyds comment was based on beating Ilhan easily a challenger player and losing to Grenier. He maybe though he could take the title, instead it's 2 points and no result ranking improvement for 2 weeks in Belarus.

As I said earlier I liked the look of Grenier when I saw him can see him climbing the rankings.

Good. I hope he is frustrated. So he should be. As Jaggy says, Hugo is no muppet but he lost in R1 to Ursu (about 750) last week. Lost to Irish junior, Carr, (about 950) in Dublin. Lost easily a few weeks ago to Pulgar-Garcia (underranked, it's true, at 1000 or so, but still nowhere near where he used to be). And had two awful tournaments in Israel in June (before admittedly having a good one), losing in R1 each time to guys ranked about 1000.

Anyway, frustration is good, get cross - focuses the mind.

Never mind, some consolation is at hand

Accidentally booked business, a nicer surprise I guess

Hmmm accidentally booked business, must be able to afford it. Tennis maybe not the priority if he's happy with business. Bank of Mummy and Daddy is it? That's hundreds of pounds of a difference there.

Any so-so player from College who hits the Challenger tour is getting funding from somewhere or else putting themselves in significant debt. I doubt he'd be bothering if it meant the latter.

Even more worrying if he's being funded then by 'accidentally' upgrading to business class.

Anything from £328 upwards Minsk to London, according to Skyscanner, depending on day and number of stops. Say £380-ish. Economy around half that, £150-180. Wonder if a certain young lady has a hand in it ?
