It does seem to be getting better!
From 2-5* Alicia is now *5-5
Harriet *4-3

Shame that both Harriet and Alicia lost their first set tie-breaks - but good that they got back on terms.

Jodie is only one game off the victory now, leading 5-1* in the second.

Laura has been pegged back to 5-5.

Bit of a disappointing score in the third set for Harriet (losing it 1-6) after two very competitive sets.

Alicia lost the second set, too, 1-6.

As did Laura D.

So that's a downer......although all three were playing seeds and, along with Eden, had the hardest draws.

Beth comes through very nicely against Lily M, winning 6-2 6-2

Katy D is on serve.

Sam is playing a woman with a very similar profile to hers and, hopefully, will have enough.

And maybe Olivia can pull off a surprise.....she's capable.

Dunne was a break up, then lost 4 games on the bounce. Has a break point to lead 2-0 in the second though.

Katy's opponent served for the match at 5-3 but Katy broke back. Now *4-5.

Olivia was 0-2 down in the third but also broke back .....

Very well done Olivia, wins 4-6 6-3 6-4  biggrin

Her 6 points ( so far ) will take her to a big CH inside the top 1000 and provisionally onto the top 25 table ( bringing the top 25 all back within the top 1000 ).

Also beating WR 465 is apparently a CH win, beating a victory over WR 493 last year.

Much more competitive from Eden in the second set against the #1 seed and she has just missed out on two BPs to break back for 3 all.
