Mr. Jubb won the first 3 games in the second set, but then lost the next three - it's never that easy to beat to top seed and I guess Mr. Kestelboim was going to have something to say about it.

Now 4-4

(and here endeth my 'official' name version. If it's any consolation SC (and it probably isn't ), I don't go in for doing it to surnames - no Jubby or Clarkey or even Wardy - but allez Pauly !!!!)

At 5-4*, Paul came within two points of victory, although on the other guy's serve, which is not that close really.

But ends up losing the second set 5-7.

Can't help thinking the third set is going to be a very tough ask.....
