Ben Jones went out to a fellow qualifier and Ali G lost to the 6th seed. Not a good day so far with the only GB winners being from all GB matches.

At least the Irish home crowd have something to celebrate this week as Pete Bothwell has taken out the top seed.

Pretty much as I expected today, with the possible exception of Tom, but I guess he expended a lot of energy winning last week.

Well it couldn't have been less than the 2 out of 10 we got through given they beat fellow Brits. The rest were very much outranked but I'd generally hope for at least one to come through or at least win a set. Then again last week was very good and our hopes can't always come true.

Our guys are fighting hard today. Ryan has come from a set down while Neil won the opener but then lost a TB in the 2nd. Both are on serve in the decider in their respective matches.

Neil was a break down in the decider against the under-ranked Bossel, but has just broken back. *3-3
Ryan is in a long game at 3-2* but hasn't been able to break yet

Neil eventually goes down 6-4 in the 3rd. Good battle though. As the Addict says, Bossel is heavily under ranked.

Ryan had BPs in the previous game but couldn't convert. *4-4 in the 3rd.

Neil saved 4MP in the last game, but couldn't quite beat Bossel, who has a CH of 262 pnly two years ago, and has been ranked inside 500 until recently.
