Harrison played a very solid set and there were too many errors from Kyle right throughout that set. To be honest, there only looked like one winner all the way through that set. Kyle fought hard to the end but the forehand lost its radar and that put Kyle under too much pressure.
But another ATP SF under his belt and a decent enough week.
Yes, Harrison did look the much more likely winner latterly, particularly with Kyle's fearhand losing its radar rather. Not sure how much his arm / shoulder was an issue. He seemed to be striking well enough, but if there was say a slight follow through issue that might explain more lines being missed.
Not sure about the commentators' repeated comments that Harrison seemed to want it more or at least "seemed" is the operative word given Kyle doesn't tend to show his feelings, winning or losing. But it does no harm if you can naturally give out such an impression particularly to carry a home crowd more with you.
Not had any forum access problems but I only came on two or three times during the match.
They website access problem was weird. It would take 10 mins to load, then work for a few minutes, then not load again. Strangely, at exactly the same moment, the ATP Live scores stopped working for me and the TV coverage went down with the message "Oops. We have technical problems, Back soon." Yet all other channels on the TV and all other websites were working fine. I guess the tennis omens were there. They were trying to tell me - "Don't stay up to watch the tennis. Go back to bed".
