Not to be for Emily as Sinead Lohan runs away with the second set 6-0.
Emily only managed seven points in the set, three of them (including a break point) in the final game. Hope she is OK - doubles final due later this afternoon.
Jodie is 3-3, one break apiece

Pity for Emily. But as mentioned before Sinead is really hugely underranked based on what she has done in her sparse ITF appearances away from US college.
Well done to Jodie Into her second final after Sharm in March.
These 7 points so far should take her up over 100 ranking places to a new CH around WR 780 on Monday week. Win the final and she'll be getting close to the top 700. Also will be into the GB top 20, probably to #19 ( certainly if she wins the final ) on Monday week.
How far up she can go for now we will see, before she heads across the pond along with Emily and many others. May their US colleges look after them well !
So this week has been dominated by aspiring, present or recent Collegiate tennis players. Quinn Gleason left Norte Dame last year and as indicated earlier Monica Robinson was last seasons number 1 being ranked just inside the top 100 players.
Sinead Lohan plays no 1 at Miami which has a very storied athletics programme. To quote a friend who regularly paints his face orange and green, in Miami; "Its all about the U baby".
She is having a pretty strong collegiate career (interestingly on a par with Julian Cash who is presently having some success in Egypt) she is into her final (senior) year next year coming off a year playing no 1 and ranked just outside the top 20 nationally. A win for Jodie would put down a marker prior to starting at Florida where standards are up a level (who cleanly dispatched Miami in the NCAA tournament).
It is good to reflect on the level Cam has come out of his junior year in college at, he was clearly the top collegiate player and is now competing at challenger level (probably the top 3-4 collegiate players are able to compete at that level) with a pretty steep drop off with those 10-30 likely to go deep in weaker futures events.
