Shame, Harriet served two doubles at *4-5 to lose the set, and a few errors at *0-1 to go an early break down in the second.

Indeed!
And, not the first time they've come up with such a gem, either.

Priesty is indeed correct, Katy Dunne did qualify at Edgbaston in 2014. A fact they remembered when TennisAbstract forgot it! Manually checking the draws confirmed it.

My error of overstatement then, in no way really diminishes Harriet's achievement, and it is to be hoped that it still paves the way for that group to begin making this a sort of regular thing for them collectively.
