I'd be very surprised to see Billy doing the Japanese swing. Billy always strikes me as a player who looks where he can can get the most for his buck and Japan isn't the cheapest of countries from what I hear.
Billy is now WR 203 in the live rankings and as I've mentioned before, he has very little to defend in the coming months. As things stand, he has only 3 points to defend until the beginning of April next year and even those won't matter because when his points from this week's ATP in Sofia go on officially, those 3 points will become a 'non-counter' anyway. So nothing at all to defend until April.
Surely he will now break into the Top 200 at some point and who knows where he can end up. I would think Billy's next goal would be to win a challenger. I know how much it hurt him missing out in the final he reached this year because it came up in conversation when he played in Murcia the following week. I told him then that there would be further opportunities and if he keeps going as he his, there has to be a chance sooner or later.
Even if his season finishes tomorrow, it will have been an amazing year, but knowing Billy, he will be looking for some far flung corner of the planet where he can carry on playing through the close season. He doesn't know the meaning of 'rest'.

Unfortunately if he reaches the top 200 he wont be able to play the ITFs to compete somewhere, although I guess there are money tournaments. I was thinking if he kept out of the top 200 this year he could play an ITF before a challenger going into the Aus Open Qualies to get some extra match practice.
Billy was on Talksport today on Hawksbee and Jacobs so is starting to get some mainstream attention. Was talking about the transit van life, sadly the van is now no more his Dad was using it for work and it blew up!
Also mentioned he now has access to the training centre and accomodation in London and also a conditioning coach Mark Smith was maybe the name, so he is starting to reap the benefits. Next year should be a good earner for him and Im sure he will get a few other wee treats and perks which he thoroughly deserves
Billy adjacent, the young lad that beat Billy in the FQR at Wimbledon is in the Semis of the Next Gen tournament. I'm actually surprised that he hasn't broken the top 100 yet. I wouldn't consider him a brilliant prospect but top 50 looks a reasonable target.

Well he won it beating Arthur Fils in 5 (short) sets

Medjedovic took $500k from this week in Saudi. So a little bit better off now than Billy as well!
